juz returned home n realised that my hubby's safety boots was missing fm the small shoerack outside.. it's new n oni worn a few time.. apparantly it was stolen when we went out tis morning..
after staying 1yr 2mths in our place, nw we see dat it's nt so safe after all.

i wondering if Coach haf beri good Quality Surveyors over at their factory or i'm sway to haf a problem with my bag???when we were at the bkk airport on 03aug, my hubby bought mi a top handle bag fm Coach Boutique in the DFS King Power. i've checked the bag and found dat there was no problem b4 we went ahead to make payment. till date i've used the bag less than 5 times and the puller of the zip already came off 3 times!! i was shocked dat tis would happen.. dunno izit the zip design caused tis problem. i realised dat the ring that enclosed the puller is not fully closed, there is a small gap. so if u pull the zip puller at a certain angle.. the puller will come off.juz nw in the cab, i had open n closed the bag. i was sure the puller was still intact on the ring.. but a few mins later.. i realised dat it was missing.. dunno when it had dropped off??!! i wondering how could it haf happened as the last few times it came off, the puller will be in my hand. i searched the floor, under the floormat and even sticked my hands in between the gap of the seats but found no zip.i'm super upset!! tis bag is less than a mth old, used less than 5 times and the zip puller is already missing. i frantically called service 100 for Coach Boutique tel no. and called them immediately. the sales assistant told mi a replacement zip puller would cost $35 and will take a few days time!!! @#$&!% i haf no choice, tml muz go all the way down to Coach at Taka liao. just my luck!!!

juz realised dat i've nt been updating my blog for a mth.. aug was a mth where i took a record of 5.5days annual leave since i returned to work on 27jun.
* 01-04aug - 2 days leave for the bkk trip in which i came back grumbling dat it was too short a trip.
* 07aug - 0.5 day leave simply to nua my time at home.
* 12aug - 1 day leave coz i was sick n already used up all the 14days of paid MC available.
* 15aug - 1 day leave for praying to my late father, grandma, grandma-in-law and ancestors.
* 20aug - 1 day leave to accompany MIL to NUH for her two scope test.
aug is also a sad mth.. one of my bestie cum neighbour's mum passed away fm ovarian cancer final stage early morning of last thur. her mum was diagnosed with cancer late last yr and was recovering well aft chemo when she had a relapse last mth. her dad had passed away earlier tis yr aft CNY. he was diagnosed with lung cancer final stage in dec07/jan08 and it had already spreaded to other organs of his body. it's really a major blow to lose ur loved ones within a yr. we pray dat she will be strong!

seems like i didn't blog for some time liao.. too many things happened to me over the last 2mths. shall not tok abt it since it brings back oni bad memories.hopefully the upcoming short trip to Bkk on 01Aug can help mi to reduce stress and tink lesser of the bad memories.bad to my main topic.. as ur koe tis upcoming national day falls on a sat.. we shd get a day off-in-lieu to compensate for the PH on sat coz sat is considered as an off day for those on 5-day wk. this can be found on MOM website.but for the last 3yrs in my current company, we nv had any off-in-lieu given for PH which falls on sat. did ur realised dat every yr, there sure is a PH which falls on a sat? so tis yr we asked our Finance&Admin Manager (aka F&A) to ask our regional office boss in Hkg if we can get off-in-lieu for PH on sat. even showing her the MOM website link.so on Monday, my GM n F&A were having a video conference and they brought up the topic of off-in-lieu for PH on sat and increase in transport allowance for sales staff. well, F&A said both was not approved. so my colleague from sales dept was commenting Hkg boss is so bad.later in the afternoon, this colleague came outside n whispered to mi dat actually is not our Hkg boss who is bad. guess who is the baddie? its our F&A!!!!! coz our GM actually explained to my colleague wat happened during the video conferencing earlier.our Hkg boss was actually agreeable to the off-in-lieu for PH on sat, but this is oni for non-management level staff and the local management muz approve also. my co. oni have 5 staff... GM n F&A who r considered management level and mi + 2 sales colleague who are non-management level staff... this means oni the 3 of us can get off-in-lieu. my GM is alrite with nt getting off-in-lieu but tis F&A is not happy. so she told my GM she will juz let us koe the off-in-lieu is not approved. see how wicked she is!!!!!next on the transport allowance.. as ur koe nw got more n more ERP gantries on the road liao.. so transport cost is increasing. so definately the sales dept requested for an increase on their transport allowance. tis F&A go n tell our Hkg boss there is no need to increase the transport allowance coz road tax is reduced by 15% wef 01Jul and govt juz gave $200 growth dividends. though mi nt getting any transport allowance (oni mi n F&A dun get), i hear liao also nt happy!! hello!!! she tink the 15% saved can cover how much of the ERP cost... i tink in no less than 2mths, the 15% already go back to paying extra ERP charges liao. the growth dividend is also nt given out by govt due to the increase in ERP gantries lor. one of the sales colleague is a m'sian, dun get growth dividend. is F&A crazy or wat to say this!! i tink she is juz not happy coz she does not get to benefit from the off-in-lieu n transport allowance. so she rather whole company suffer bcoz of her!!our whole company basically cannot stand the F&A. so selfish, stingy and suspicious of everyone in the co. and she can suddenly haf depressions. still remember some time back last yr.. she keep crying after she received phone calls.. she would go to the conference room n tok on the phone for a long time. tink at least an hour lor. den she start asking funny questions on y ppl divorce, etc. writes funny mail to our Hkg boss who ask our GM wat's wrong with F&A. den after the weeks of depression she suddenly started dressing up n wearing speghetti straps tops or sleeveless tops.. last time all the while she on wears t-shirts n jeans. i feel she is a ticking time-bomb, dunno when will explode.

as my hubby was working OT today n my mum was nt cooking.. i asked my sis out for dinner after work. we decided to meet at vivo as dats where we usually took the train home together..i was abt to decide on having dinner at carl's jr until we walked further n saw earle swensen. we had previously dined there once before, experience was nt bad so decided to go there again.as it was only ard 6.30pm, the dinner crowd was nt in yet... we were told to take a seat at the side before they allocate us our table.. the restuarant was quite empty fm the view outside.. no queue lor..liddat also muz take a sit n wait a awhile.. backside haven warmed the seat den they say table ready.. we got a table rite at the end of the restuarant inside, lousy view also.we ordered soup of the day, calamari, fish n chips (for mi) n fried chicken delight (for my sis). drinks was a cooler for mi n ice coffee blended (in cookies n cream) for my sis. the mains included a all-u-can-eat salad bar.after our orders was taken, we went to the salad bar.. tink we spent abt 5mins there.. by the time we went back to the table.. the soup was already served. it was potato soup with turkey ham. lucky oni ordered one serving. it was bland.. den the calamari was served shortly after together with the drinks.when i was abt to finish my salad, the mains arrived!!! wow, dat was fast.. of coz also due to the dinner crowd nt in yet. i happily started attacking my fish n chips. meanwhile, my sis was still finishing her salad. after she was done with the salad, she replaced the salad plate with her mains, fried chicken delight. to her horror, she actually saw a small insect which looked like a cockroach crawling on the salsa sauce on her fried chicken. yeeeekksss!!! immediately called the waiter to see the insect n he immediately said he'll replace the chicken. abt 10mins later, a new plate of fried chicken delight was served. my sis was basically scrutinising the whole plate of fried chicken before she started eating. call it once bitten, twice shy. she was nt even through 3 mouthfuls when she again saw something. tis time round, the dead body of an unidentified insect!!she was disgusted n totally lost her appetite... at tis time, i was already finishing my fish n chips.. heng mine was ok. we asked for the bill, at the same time my sis asked to speak to the manager on duty.the manager came n my sis started to relate abt the cockroach thing fm the 1st fried chicken delight n dat she totally lose her appetite bcoz the 2nd fried chicken delight had a dead insect body. the manager kept on apologising to us n said he will waive off the charge of the fried chicken delight. he even offered us desserts on the house, but we were too digusted to tink of even staying for desserts. we juz paid n left.fm today onwards, we condemned earle swensen at vivo..
