Yesterday got 1 client come to our office, so my GM suggested to go lunch 2gether... so off we went to the Coca Steamboat on the 2nd FL in our bldg. It was a buffet steamboat at $18++ per pax. We sure ordered alot of items and eat like siao. By the end of lunch, i feel so bloated (and look like a 4mth pregnant lady).

Tinking back, it sure was a sinful week for mi (i trying to lose weight lah). Last friday also had steamboat coz my brother-in-law b-day. Den sat i went to my fren Noel's b-day bbq, sun ordered pizza. Like dat confirm gain weight i/o losing weight liao. Shit!!!

Yesterday i was browsing thru the Straits Times report on the legal suit below the NKF CEO T.T.Durai & SPH, i was totally flabbergasted by wat i had read.

Isn't NKF a charity organisation, y do they haf the means to pay their CEO a salary of 25k/mth?? Does dat means watever we donated fm our hard-earned blood monies partially goes to paying dat idiot CEO??? I would say dat as a charity organisation, paying the CEO 5k/mth as a salary and a 1mth performance bonus would still sound ok to me, but certainly not 25k. Juz tink of how many NKF patients could haf benefited from the xtra 535k (savings for a yr salary & the 12mths performance bonus). NKF is supposed to be saving lifes not wasting monies over their CEO!!!

For goodness sake, we are donating to help those patients in need, not to pay for an idiot CEO to travel 1st class on SIA business class fare!! Dat T.T.Durai is sure damn cocky, it seems dat he is thick skin enough to tink dat he deserved to be pay dat much. I'm sure all the readers out there will make it a point nv to donate to NKF again since we now all know dat our monies goes to paying dat cocky CEO and not to helping the patients in need.

Saw the report on today's NewPaper dat some ppl had sprayed graffiti on the walls of the NKF bldg and also dat abusive calls are being made to the NKF. Even donors are threatening to stop their donations. Imagine if donations were not made to NKF anymore, it's the patients dat will suffer and all these caused by the cocky CEO.

I tink NKF better replace this damn CEO and dun ever pay such a high salary with our monies donated for the patients in need. Remember, u (NKF) is supposed to be a charity organisation, not a MNC who can afford to pay their CEO a high salary & mths of performance bonus. Should u not learnt ur lesson, it's the patients dat suffer. Dun u haf a conscious and feel guilty, would u dare to look into the eyes of your patient.

TGIF!!! Whoopee, can enjoy myself liao... it's the vcd marathon again, but hubby comin over 2nite so cannot watch until too late... Dat day was telling ur dat the goldfish my sis bought for my nephew journey to the west within 1 day rite. The next day my bro-in-law went to buy two terrapins home for my nephew. He said terrapins easily to keep n will survive long long unlike the goldfish.

My sis n mi named the terrapins 'duo qi lai' (hide away) & 'cong chu lai' (rushing out). Coz one likes to hide inside his shell n the latter likes to swim n crawl ard. Tis 'duo qi lai' n 'cong chu lai' also beri funni, when we put them on the floor, they b'com the opposite of each other... 'duo qi lai' will crawl ard like siao n 'cong chu lai' will juz stay put on the floor n look ard... Tokin abt their appetites, 'duo qi lai' is the bigger one but dun eat much n 'cong chu lai' the small size one will juz gobble down the food when he c them.. so small size but eat alot... really can't judge a terrapin by its look also hor... kekeke

Tink i dun tok much liao lah... my hand n neck pain pain, can't use too much strength.. Actually juz my excuse coz i dunno wat to write here liao..

Couldn't really remember when was the last time i posted in here, coz now work has started to pick up and also dat i got another part-time job to do. Hehe, tis way i can save more mah. I realised dat over the mths, i've b'com more stingy liao.. every cent spent muz be worth..
Yesterday my sis bought home 2 goldfishes for my little nephew. Upon seeing the goldfishes, he was beaming with smile. I had told my sis earlier dat "ur son so naughty, tink the goldfishes will be dead within a wk, maybe even a day, haha". Well, it seem dat i was quite accurate, tis morning i found them dead. Hmm.. did they die from shock? i was running for the bus when carrying them.. i feel sad for them n my nephew. Maybe should buy him guppies tis time round..

Heard fm my boss n colleague dat there is a Thai Festival @ the Royal Thai Embassy next to our office bldg. Tink it actually started since yest, coz fm the office i could hear all those music come from the embassy's compound. So i decided to drop in to the festival for a look (i usually lunch-in, surviving on bread n yogurt).

Obviously its crowded in there as its lunch time, u can c office workers, tourists n those housewife wif their kids. Well, i was expecting the food fair to have authentic thai food but it's actually all those thai restuarants in S'pore fighting for business in there. Almost every 2 store offers the same dish eg; papaya salad, green curry, tom yum seafood, etc.. Therefore i'm quite disappointed.

The festival actually consisted of a few sections, food, handicrafts, tidbits, travel etc.. there's even an area set aside for ppl who wans a thai massage. With too many ppl crowding ard at the food section, i decided to walk ard n look for those thai tidbits. Their price range was abt the same as wat they offer over at Thailand, only abt lesser den a dollar difference. I bought the egg roll with pork floss dat i loved, i tink its a MUZ BUY if u are in Thailand.

At the other corner, i saw a Airasia counter having a promotion of 3D2N Bkk @SGD125 (excl.Airport tax). Tis sure tempted mi alot as i love to shop in Bkk, it's one of my favourite countries. Been there 3 times and i yearning for more, if only our trip in Mar wasn't cancelled.. maybe i should ask my hubby or sis to go there for a short trip in Nov. Oh... i can't wait for it to happen!!

Spending abt half an hour in there, i decided to buy a basil chicken with steam rice as it looked delicious since the price $3 seem rather reasonable. Upon reaching the office, i realised dat i've been cheated. I muz say dat its oni half a bowl of rice and a miserly few pieces of chicken wif lots of bones. No wonder it's oni $3!!! I swear dat i'll nv buy food fm food fairs anymore..
