had met up wif waikwan and kelly yesterday at PS (Plaza Singapura) for dinner and chit chat. Both are my ex-colleagues at Astro whom I'm quite close wif... out of the three of us, oni waikwan is still working there... kelly has left to persue a career at Manulife as a financial planner (or selling insurance as everyone should koe). i always pei fu those ppl whose career is financial planner, can't imagine mi as one lor.... but this is a career dat can really earn u big bucks other den being a property agent.
meeting was at 6.15pm, kelly was late. therefore waikwan n mi went ard the gift shops in PS to look for a b-day present for the new gal which took over kelly's job... even after going thru all the gift shops, waikwan is nt satisfied wif wat she sees.. end up oni bought a cute mini piggy b-day card.. i joked wif kelly dat it's nt easy to earn waikwan's $$. hahaha
dinner was at the foodcourt... trying to save $$ as i had already overspent on tis mth's budget... com to tink, i can't imagine hw i spent my $$.. still the beginning of the mth n i'm almost broke!! after dinner... walk ard the whole of PS until our legs gonna break (except waikwan whose got a great shopping mood). went to BK to drink n chit chat after dat till ard 10pm..
on the way to the mrt, saw a pushcart selling sterling silver accessories which can be personalised... caught my eyes on one of the rings dats was shaped with the names of a couple.. cost was SGD45/ring... since next mth is hubby's 29th b-day, i shall get a pair for us... tis way we can safe keep our white gold wedding rings...
