on thursday, i was wif my mum, sis n nephew at junction 8 to catch a movie, ant bully. as there was a shop "pretty in tokyo" (for taking photo stickers n cards) next to the cinema, we juz walked in to take a look. we were fascinated.. hahaha.. so i juz told my mum n sis we shall take one for keepsake since so long nv take liao. it's my mum n nephew 1st time take photo stickers... as the movie was starting in 10mins time, we decided to take after the movie.
taking the photo sticker sure make mi tink of the days when i was still schooling, i used to enjoyed taking photo stickers and card wif my classmates n frens every now n then. those days, photo stickers cost SGD4.00 and photo cards (coms in 2pc) SGD6.00. all we do is to choose the background and smile at the screen. but these days, there are so many types of photo stickers and cards booth around. the best part is dat there are cushion sets, curtain backgrounds, etc for you to take ur photos in... the price of coz has increased now to SGD10.00. now i realised dat i'm beri suaku... abt 6yrs nv take liao. LOL!!!

time really past real fast eh.... finished my exams for accounts and econs over these two weeks. was confident dat the accounts paper was a sure pass with at least a B but might just pass or fail the econs paper. well, i simply hate econs and no matter how much effort i put in to study, the brain juz doesn't absorb it. WHY WHY WHY??? anyway, no point toking muchabt it since its over liao.. results will be out on 25-oct (also lily's b-day) and we'll @@ then... wish mi luck.
as i said the previous time, my GM was leaving the company and last friday was her last day... so fast 1 wk liao hor. mi oni went bac to work yesterday as i was on leave for exam and also due to the national day holiday. sounds gd rite, a super long weekend which is enough time to go overseas for a short trip liao. but so swayed i got exam, also no $$!! LOL!! btw, my office decided to shift out of the current premises after 8 long yrs (i oni worked there for 1yr+++). we are heading to tg pagar, potential site is a third floor shop house unit which is beri nice and classy. rental is dirt cheap as compared to the rates at orchard road.. almost 3 times cheaper. up till 6pm, we were still pending our hkg boss (yup, now we report directly to hkg office) for the go ahead... pray dat all is well and we shall shift over there oct at the earliest. i'm looking forward to the day... though i'll miss the shopping centres in orchard... hahaha, but definately cheaper n nicer foods are in tg pagar. so quite fair ba....
btw, mi juz bought a laptop, ACER Travelmate 3022WTMi..it's pearl white in colour. finally rite??? i was hasitating for quite some time liao... tink since beginning of the year ba... hmm,i already got a new desktop (abt 1yr liao), so tot of getting a laptop for sch work,.. well, we got 2 desktops at home but still nt enough to use also. my bro-in-law used his to play games... mi also for game (got work also la), den sis also need to work... so we sometimes fight for usage. now got a laptop, my sis is gonna pay for the desktop for mi... yipee. at this moment, i using my new laptop to write the blog.. nice feeling sia!!!
tink i shold stop now, gotta a long day ahead tml... morning to my aunt's place and late aftn/evening time is off to my godma's place to celebrate her b-day. long time no see her liao, coz tis yr can't go over her place for new year... if got time i'll change my blog's look k... below pic taken fm th laptop's cam, nt so clear coz my rm's lighting is bad..

Countdown one more day... and my GM will leave the company... so sad to hear the news the before, shocked also.. without her, tink i wouldn't be where i am today.. a good employer is hard to com by, especially one who has no airs and tok to you like a fren. she's also someone whom i could look up too. still remember last yr i was in a dilemma on whether to take up the part-time diploma... worrying abt time n expenses. she was the one who encourage mi to upgrade myself, even offering to be my guarantor should i intend to take up a bank loan. also a caring employer, asking abt how my dad's condition was when he's hospitalised, consoled mi when he passed away. even bought my nephew belated birthday present when she koes his birthday was already over. Working with her was stress free. now dat she's leaving, it kinda of feels as if something is missing.. office gets quieter too.. but we should be happy for her coz she's leaving to take up a better position, CEO of a listed company. all we can do now is wish her all the best in her future undertakings. dunno when gonna see her again...
