alamak, was posting my reno blog on multiply when i accidently cross-posted the post into my normal blog. really a long time since i last blogged in here, say 2mths plus?

went down jalan besar juz now with my mum, sis n nephew in tow coz i wanted to get clipsal switches from a shop there. will be dropped by at my HB's grandma funeral at the s'pore casket after dat. reached there at 6pm++ and the shop had closed!! since there were quite a no. of lighting shops there, i tot i should try my luck and see if there are any more shops that sells clipsal switches. found another one somewhere further down on the opp. side. sway sway also closed for the day liao. seem dat most of the shops will be closed by 6pm, those dat remained open sells oni lights which i've already ordered.

anyway, if i nv insisted dat we walk up n down the whole of jalan besar to look for clipsal switches, we would not have chanced upon a small italian restaurant in a shophouse there. u would not even notice the restuarant unless u saw the gelato ice-cream when u walked pass. out of curiousity, we went inside for some gelato.

it looked like the restuarant had oni opened recently coz oni got 2 customers (a couple) inside having dinner. but they seemed to be regular customers as i heard the guy asking the boss when they'll introduced the fire-baked oven pizza. heard the boss replying dat he's still waiting for the oven to come in end of the mth. anyway, the design of the restuarant is beri special. those food covers which we used in the kitchen has been converted into lampshades. first time we saw sometime like dat, usually the most oni see bird cages been converted to lamp shades.

there is a wide choice of flavours for the gelato. even has a flavour called Love Chocolate which has chilli as part of the ingredient. according to the boss, it will haf a spicy aftertaste which we sister confirmed after trying abit of it. the price of the gelato is reasonable also, no GST and service charge at all. min is 2 scoop and it cost oni $4 with a waffle cup!! when we left, my sis asked for a business card but they were out of it. sigh, hard to get a contact no., dunno next time easy to get a seat in there anot. hmm, tinking of going there for my ROM 2nd anniversary next month.
